Many of us are getting calls from people, well intentioned, who want to go help. They have no training or skills that would add value to the desperate situation there. In many cases, we have witnessed people who go to help being a drain on valuable life support

As a consequence of th effect of hurricane Ida, the Central zone of El Salvador that includes the provinces of Cabanas, San Vicente, La Paz, La Libertad and the greater San Salvador area with its 16 municipalities have suffered catastrophic damages.

There are millions of men, women and children all over the region who are suffering with no shelter, limited shelter, or insufficient shelter. These millions are marginalized, and are living in inhuman conditions that are staggering. Many are suffering from malnutrition, diseases, and are forced into undignified actions
