Starfish Community

Dear Friends --

HISG has generously offered to let us use their 'Starfish Community' collaboration platform for our communications.

Until we actually get all of our primary folks onto such a platform, and get everyone up to speed, we will need to use email as a redundant communication system.

Just to keep things from getting insane, please consider the following suggestions:

1. Please direct replies and suggestions to specific people rather than habitually using "reply to all" (unless what you are saying is really useful to everyone).
2. Please CC me in on any conversations that are related to the Pakistan Initiative so that we can better coordinate what is developing.
3. Please try to communicate clearly and succinctly. (Less is more...)
4. Please be patient with me as we work out how we will all move together on this.

In posting information or a discussion comment on the Starfish website, the system should email you notification that the discussion has begun. You may consider forwarding the link embedded in that email to others as an invitation. Over time, the SFC system may develop in a way where the invitations are more integrated as part of the system, but until that happens, it's easy to forward these messages as an invitation.

Just a simple suggestion.
