In the interview below, Jim Yost talks about his experience with adopting a community outside of Padang after the earthquakes that took place in Indonesia during the fall of 2009.

His goal was to not just go in and help as many people as he could, but to see a community totally restored. The community is taking ownership of their recovery instead of letting outside groups do it all, working towards a goal that is better in the end than it was before the earthquake.
